Hola! I am Hang, currently a third-year Ph.D. candidate at the University of Guelph. I grew up in a small town, Zhangjiagang (张家港), located in the Eastern part of China. Since a young age, I have always been fascinated by the complex dynamic between nature, the built environment, and us human beings. During my second year in a local traditional high school, I got the opportunity to reroute my life completely and started my adulthood in Montréal, Canada. In September 2015, I enrolled in an Environmental Sciences program at McGill University. I dabbled in Geology for a year before finding my true passion in Atmospheric Sciences, where I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the group of Prof. Andreas Zuend. After spending seven years at McGill, I moved to Guelph, Ontario, in September 2022, to continue my Ph.D. journey in Environmental Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Scott Krayenhoff and Prof. Amir A. Aliabadi.
